Kind of German Pork and Sauerkraut

Turn your slow cooker on high and add:

A pork roast (ours was 3.5 lbs)
caraway seeds
pepper
a boatload of sauerkraut and its liquid (I used 2 cups, next time will use more.)

After an hour, turn it to low, and then stare at it for 6 hours.

Good cold weather food.  Great for our schedules these days, which don't match up.  I used a few cloves of garlic and bay leaves in ours (Alex can't stand caraway seeds) and it was delicious, but I bet it would be even better with the caraway.

I love putting apple pieces in mine, but I know how you feel about meat and fruit.
Since you enjoyed this, you ought to try sauerbraten, similar cooking style and delicious.
