Lillet Caper Martini (Needs a proper name)

 

Something about the combination of Lillet Blanc and capers creates a mysterious fresh herbal flavor that is delicious and has me hooked!  Mixing vodka with gin tempers the strong flavor of gin to allow the subtle to come through.  

1/2 oz. Lillet Blanc
1 oz. Gin
1 oz. Vodka
4-5 capers (or more) 

Serve over ice.

Capers are way too salty for me, so I rinse them first.  Actually, I put them into the jigger, add a little water, stir gently, then drain off the water.
